Think Toyota and other nip auto makers will fix your car so your car is putting out the HP they advertized?
I dunno....my WRX is right at where it is stated it should be.... :YEAH
Re: More deception and fraud from our toyota friends
It sucks they lie like that-but they're still gonna sell cars because of their rep for reliability.
I work at a local GM dealership and I drive an Olds 88 w/ a 3800 (great car) to and from work. I drive a GM car because they "sort-of" pay my wages in a way (although I have other makes parked in my drive at home). I hate to say it, but I've seen too much sh*t happen in our service dept. to be confident in the reliability of any reasonably priced GM cars/trucks (3800 models excluded) 2000 or newer.
Some of the new stuff looks super nice, though. My fiance just leased a Pontiac G6 and its really nice and affordable. If it turns out to be relaible they'll sell millions of them. Hopefully things will turn around and all the people who have bought GM vehicles will be happy customers.

Yeah I've seen the same things at the Proving Grounds. But what you're not seeing is the other companies having the same types of problems. GMs actual numbers of service warranties per 100 vehicles is fairly low now days compared to even five years ago. Other guys are having the same problems your just seeing the GM problems because you work there.
