"Open House" & Bonfire in Highland

First question:

Saturday the 27th, or Saturday September 3rd? The biggest factor between the dates is attendance, really. Sept. 3rd would be better if we wanted to make this into something bigger (more of a party) , as there would be more time to plan, obtain supplies, invite other groups/friends on Stuntlife that are within range, and I wouldn't have to get up early for a flight the next morning like I will on the 28th. If its going to be more of an afternoon thing with fiddys & hanging out with riding and a fire at night or whatever, the 27th will work fine.

Discuss amongst yourselves...

Will be gone on the 3rd, so I have to vote the 27th and I'm checking with the boss to see if that is free.

Re: "Open House" & Bonfire in Highland

My time back home is limited and pretty much divided up so I can't do both. I am going to try to get out and ride as much as I can, though. Let's stick with the 27th to keep things simple and not have it go too late since I have my flight the next day and people will want to ride back to Flint anyway. Food and beverages are a given. I also have the v-ball net, fire pit, pool table, wireless broadband, and of course a couple acres to run the fiddys around in. Sorry, but the pool and hot tub are now gone in order to make way for bigger and better things in 2006. Offer up suggestions and what time people would like this to get rolling.

I detect a lack of interest.

Its okay is this is not convenient - don't have to do it. I'm beginning to think that I may be trying to do too much the first week I am back, anyway.

Build it and we will come. I don't think I can on the 27th either, so I'm screwed either way. Have a small party Friday and we'll all ride down on bike night and stop by. :YEAH

Cancelled!

No, that's not going to work, either. I'm going to be in Ohio on Friday and I'm not sure what time I'll be back for riding.

Okay, this is officially cancelled. There's some furniture in the fire pit right now, so we could light it up Friday night if I make it back and people want to stop here on the ride. That's probably a better plan. :YEAH

I left the word "house" out of the sentence, think about it for a while. It's a riddle.

If your furniture (which is normally in a house) is in the fire pit outside, then logs (which are normally in a fire pit)..............................oh, forget already.
