Ebenezer Car/Bike Show

August 28th fellas is this years Car/Bike show at Ebenezer Ministries.

I have worked in a Fiddy show, PM me if you are interested in riding your fiddy.

Admission is FREE, there will be Hot Dogs, Chips, and pop: all FREE.

If you wish to enter your car/bike into the show and be eligible for a trophy, the entrance fee is $5.

There is going to be A couple dealerships there showcasing various automobiles (Jaguar,Infinity,SAAB) Along with other local dealerships that will let you take a car for a test drive.

So far the tentative schedule is:
2:00 p.m. Car and Bike show entrants begin arriving
3:00 p.m. Food, Entertainment and car/bike judging
4:30 p.m. Giveaways
5:00 p.m. Car/bike winners announced
5:30 p.m. Jazz/Gospel Music
7:30 p.m. Wrap up

I can probably work the Fiddy show in from 3-3:30, if you guys only want to be doing a half hour show, if you want longer, or if we get more guys wanting to do this, then I can probably get it from 3-4.

I figure that way you guys can walk around enjoy the show, Food, and various vendors that will be at the show. and then have a set time to do your performance!

Please, if you have a space request for performing get ahold of me BEFORE Saturday, August 20th as this will be the meeting where most everything will get set in stone. I will try to get as much space in their parking lot for the fiddies.

This is a GREAT time for us to present the church with the Thank you Plaque that has been discussed in the past. I will be accepting donations for the cause ANYTIME up until the day of the show.

Lastly:
I propose we get together before hand and have a "DR Lunch" then ride to the church together.
How about meeting at Bubba O's on Belsay around noon?

Re: Ebenezer Car/Bike Show

Jarsh I'm in for riding the Fiddy since my fiddy riding is at an all time low this year too. Also is it or can it be set-up like last year where there really wasn't a show we just rode and had fun all day there. Does this mean NO BIG BIKES doing Burnouts? LOL

Jarsh Let me know if you need any help since you know I'm there for you Homles. I think your right about given them a plague at this event.

Re: Ebenezer Car/Bike Show

Jarsh could we the fiddy riders and you arrange a meeting with Knox and discuss where we could set up. I think if it was done like last year it would be great. Throw us in the back corner and we will ride all damn day since this year there will most likely be more then 2 fiddys.

A-holes. I'm going to come all the way back from Iraq on leave and you guys have to have an event the day I leave for Florida. I specifically picked a flight that left on SUNDAY so that I wouldn't miss the "weekend". :finger

I'll have to check my flight time that Sunday, but how about a ride, fiddy practice, and bonfire in Highland the night before the show? You guys can even race the fiddys around in my backyard - we can put out cones for a track. If it sounds good, we can start another thread.

Re: Ebenezer Car/Bike Show

Yeah it's no problem, there was nothing set in stone about doing a SHOW for the fiddies, I was just suggesting that so that you guys could come out, enjoy the car show and everything, then go ride your fiddies.

But if you want to be able to ride your fiddies all day long, that is perfectly fine. I will tell Mr. Knox that that's what you guys want.

Just if I can get a rough estimate as to how much room you guys want I'll try my best to get it for ya!

R6VP: You're crew is more than welcome to show up.

Please Shoot me a PM if you want to ride your Fiddy so I can give the church a rough estimate as to how many guys we can expect.

Also, If you guys want to meet up for lunch somewhere else closer to the church, feel free to suggest anywhere. Hell, if someone wants to host us at their house, let's get a cookout going ourselves

No time on the FIDDY show, just have a small area like before coned or roped off and will be riding all day for them..........that's the best bet I say, let me know Bud. I plan on burning a whole tank of gas.

Re: Ebenezer Car/Bike Show

By then I will be running Turbo Blue in my Fiddy since it will be cheaper then 87 octane.
