Re: Update on Tonys Accident

Tony gets out tomorrow and everything seems to be going well. He was even talking about getting a new bike and still riding when he gets better. :YEAH Here are some pic's for those of you who elect not to cover your rear brake on standups (me included).

Re: Update on Tonys Accident

isnt it ironic that the advertisement at the top of this page is an add for crash cages/extended sliders/wheelie bars on a bike JUST LIKE TONYS?

Re: Update on Tonys Accident

Thanks everyone for kind words and to all who came up.

Well it was all too sureal.. I mean i took off from stop light and decided to bounce one up I mean nothing i havent done before. i rememeber it coming up then for some reaon seeing my wheelie sticker on my rear tail in front of my face. it took a good 10 seconds of rolling and tumbling for me to finnaly sink in I flipped it.

the only thing i can think of is that the dip in the roard/man hole helped me rock back and roll the throttle wide open. never had an issue before where i even came close to that high as you all know.

yea i have a titanum rod through my whole lower leg bone i broke in two places, which he told me if it didnt take or got infected they would amputate. i cut major artery with the break so i lost alot of blood as well.

suomy i have to give a great big thanks and excellent review no head injuries or pains at all and i know i slammed my head alot of times on the pavement as my helmet shows it. teknic javket (leather) also big thumbs up brusing only not a spec of rash and even my cheaper rocket gloves i was wearing did excellent job no rash.

ya i have some severely bruised ribs, fractured left hand, left leg broken, some rash on my right knee.

i really think if i was wearing my sidi boots i wouldnt have broke my leg, i think it broke when my legs were flopping around on the 65 mph tumble along center road. the boots would have helped prevent the leg flop anf flex. i had squid tennis shoes on and paid for it.

anyway damn sore just typing this but thought i would give ya an update and big thanks to all the friends that paid a visit.

ps i will be riding again i love it too much to give it up.. i just think this time it will be on a yammaha r1

like my idols dan and jeff and they look just damn cool with the undertail exhaust and mods you can do..

peace out all... gimpper
