Matt am not blaming that officer I am just speaking in general but I doubt the kid did anything that is worth putting an innocent peoples lives at risk. I don't know if that happened either and his innocents was lost once he refused to stop. If you run and hurt or kill yourself then it is a form of self justice. I am not saying if you run you should die but you have to be willing to accept the end result good or bad.

I haven't justfied running either have I ran before yep a long time ago just not worth it to me now a days. But let me tell you our group has maybe one or two guys that we ride with that would run. The point isn't whether I would stop or not it is whether the guy next to me would to prevent anything bad from happening. If he is willing to risk his life to get away then go get him copper but if he is willing to risk my wife's or my sons lives then let the fawker go. I know none of the core riders of this group would run just not what we had in mind when we organized this group. I have seen a few guys in the group pull over when they could have easily have gottne away from the popo.

Someone in the chase has to be the smarter person, catching bad people isn't about putting the public in danger. Though some of you guys have said if the guy running is a murder it is ok to chase him till he kills an innocent vitcim. With all the radios and helicopters there are other ways to end a chase that are much safer for the public. :YEAH :YEAH

I will also back this story up!! The cops were totally cool about everything!! And yes, they THANKED us for stopping!!! R6VP didn't even have his full endorsement yet (just a permit, although he has been riding for years) and the boys still let us go!!

However, my question to those of you who do run is, have you ever lost anyone in your family that you were close to, especially at a young age??

If you have, then you know the loss of a young loved one has a life altering impact on the family. For those of you who haven't, then you don't know the constant pain you feel when wake up every morning full well knowing that you will never see that loved one again.

My point to all this is, IT IS STUPID TO RUN FROM THE POLICE!!! DON'T DO IT!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! When you do run, you are acting in the most ingnorant and selfish way possible!! Not only are you endangering the lives of others, you are risking your own life!!! And just remember, when you do go down and kill yourself (and other innocent people), you are not the one who has the reap the consequences...your surviving family and friends are the ones who pay the price!!

So if you are one of those people who chooses to run, why don't you sell your bike and go play with a semi loaded gun!! Keep putting that barrel up to you head and see how lucky you can get!! It's ultimately the same kind of thing, but at least you won't be endangering other peoples lives!!!

That must just be where you live then because the cops around here are not too lenant, especially if i was doin 145. I got arrested for wreckless driving for doing a wheelie, got arrested because of a court fu(k up issued a warrant which wasn't my fauly and the only reason I was pulled over was for using hand signals because my bike didn't have turn signals during the day. I think I got pulled over around 5 times for not having blinkers, yet a lot of choppers dont and it's perfectly legal to use hand signals, and I wasn't issued tickets for not using signal(beside a ticket for not having endorsements). I have enough sense not to run because I know they are just going to be that much more ruthless when it comes to bringing me to 'justice'. Has anyone seen the video where the guy ran on a motorcycle then the cop "couldn't stop in time" and plowed the fu(kin guy over killing him in the process, and there is clearly room for him to stop, he shouldn't have been on his *** that badly anyways.
