It's just as much her friends fault she's missing as hers.
I believe that she may have met one or more of those guys at the bar with her friends. The guys probably wanted her and her friends to come to an "after party" but her friends didn't want to go. She wanted to go and talked her friends into letting her go alone. I'm sure it was one of those "don't worry about me girls I want to get lucky tonight" type things and her friends said, "Ok, just call us if you need us."

I don't understand why you'd let your friend go alone witha bunch of strangers when you are in a foreign country. Hell I wouldn't want to go alone with strangers if I were there, and I'm damn sure that no one would want to kidnap my ***.
