So I'm running thru a few offers I got on the mustang, and sure enough, I get a few dumbfawks. I'm selling the car for 6 grand and I'm throwing in the trailer for free. Here's how a typical conversation goes...


them: Are you selling a 77 mustang?
me: Yep, 6 grand with the goodies I listed and I'm throwing in the trailer.
them: I'm interested in the car, but I don't think I want the trailer
me: well you don't have to take the trailer, you can just get the car.
them: how much is it for just the car then?
me: 6 grand
them: but I don't want the trailer!
me: And you don't have to take it!
them: so why am I paying for something that I don't want?
me: Cause I was throwing in the trailer for free
them: so I don't get a discount for not getting the trailer?
me: no
them: I don't understand
me: The car is going for 6 grand, the trailer is a $1,200 value. If I wanted to get the most out of everything, you would have to pay $7,200 for the whole thing. But the trailer is free so you only pay 6 grand.
them: oohhh....ummmm....okay.....so how about 5 grand?
me: *click*

Use to race it out at lapeer. That's one well built and reliable stang, but rule #1 for drag racing is "don't drive it there!" Hence the need for a trailer

I know how you feel bro. I got a bunch of ******** calling when I sold my Mustang GT. I got people wanting to trade even though the add says NO TRADES. I had a guy call and discuss parts for stangs and tried to sell me a S/Cfor it. LOl...I said no dumfuk I'm selling it and cant u read it already has a S/C ..........
