you should see your nic card there with an ip address.
192.x.x.x is either pulling an IP from a router, or the cable modem itself if its the later then your cable modem is not communicating with the headend.
169.x.x.x is a default IP from OS and is bad sign.. no communication with NIC to DHCP server.
If your IP is 24.x.x.x / 68.x.x.x / 71.x.x.x or something other then the first two you have a valid IP from cable modem.
Send me your MAC address 12 digit address on your cable modem I can see from the headend what its doing.

Got it, it was a problem with the NIC card among other things. This whole computer is one gigantic mess but it's inching closer to normal.
