Spring Safety..........................................

Okay, let's list a few tips for riding since we are starting the new year. PLEASE, don't bastardize the thread. I want everyone thinking straight to start the new year. I'll start with a few and just keep adding.

Wear your **** (yes, leathers.......a cow died to protect your skin, use it)
Take it easy at first, salt film on roads and cold roads spell NO HOOKUP
Don Fucck with cars, they always win because they are bigger.

i am always lookin in my mirrors when im slowing down or coming to a stop.(if youve ever been *** packed ,this is a good practice)the green light you are approaching is not yours.people run red lights all the time.if you are in your car and they hit you,you may live.if you are on your bike and they hit you,you probably wont live.and ALWAYS assume that someone is going to turn left in front of you.if you are ready and you know your bikes brakes, youll be able to stop in time.

dans right guys.those knuckleheads(flat line racing)that think its funny to carry rocks or change in their pockets to throw at cars that cut them off,are really stupid.dont yell or flip them off,it just gives a bad impression to all motorists that see you do it.if a car sees you at the last minute and avoids you, wave in a thankful manner.if you act like a bad ***,you might end up on your *** leavin all of us behind to grieve over your familys loss.

Re: Spring Safety..........................................

The new passing light they're installing is NOT a laser gun! It really pisses people off when you ride behind them and flash it at machine gun speeds.

In times of confusion, just think...
What would Big Jarsh Do?

Another thing to add...
Don't do a stoppie at every chance possible. Make sure you give the people behind you warning that you are going to do one, too many near misses last year. We aren't ALL mind readers.

Re: Spring Safety..........................................

Just remembered this one...

It's cool that we can ride next to eachother, But when we start to get above 100 mph it's not to wise to stick right next to someone.

Milford road Safety...

Those twisties are fun, but there's nothing more frustrating then to have someone try to ride next to you on those corners, Get in front or behind, Depending on how hard you are going to bang them corners.

Make sure you're pants aren't too baggy, sucks when they get stuck on the pegs when your trying to put your foot down at a stop light/sign.

Re: Spring Safety..........................................

when riding in a group, dont use just your signals, use your hands!!!
Also, riding in a group does not mean you can buzz people.

That happened to me once, I was riding with this kid and he decided to do a tank spreader in my lane while passing me. He came like 2 inches from kicking me in the head.
Dont be a squid!!! :YEAH

Just my 2
