Not to be drag with this link, but it's a good place to remind ourselves what we are dealing with. I want nothing more than no one in our group or that I know getting hurt this year, it would be the first time. If one my friends go down this year and gets hurt, I'll be honest my bike is gone. It's the ONLY thing I don't like about bikes, you have a good chance of loosing a friend. Let have lots of fun and be SAFE this year.

 

I start a thread about top speed and you post this....I hope we dont have any new memoeral rides this year for shure...

 

Wow that is a scary thought. I have crashed a few times, (OK a lot of times). But never really felt that I could end up that way. Then to look at all those threads of other who probably felt the same way.

 

Ok well atleast flip wasnt a friend and ruined it for us..

 

im with you dan.the "stunters" that think its cool to wreck there bike and get minor injuries,end up dead in most cases.i dont mean you flip, i think i got thru to you the other night.i been ridin these "crotch rockets" (god i hate that term),for 20 years now,i been run over,flipped over,fawcked over more times than most of you.we need to be serious,and watch who we do ride with.i think guys should earn there right to ride with disturbed riders,not just someone who has 10 bucks for a sticker.i know,im the old fawck tryin to be all mighty and wise,but your lives and the lives of your family,can be ruined in a millisecond.remember,theres no such thing as a green light.sometimes i wonder why i ride these damn things,and have come to the conclusion that im a adrenalin seekin show off.i worry about all of you guys,and cant wait till this friggin weather breaks so we can do it [B]ALL OVER AGAIN!

he didn't get hurt..........shiit I stubbed my toe last night and received more injuries than Flip.

 

I wanted to make sure you guys know, that if I go down, and stay down, I don't want anyone to give up riding. I want you guys to keep doing what you enjoy.

I trust most eveyone on here that we ride with, you're a great bunch of guys. and for the most part we are safe... every now and then we get all ***** nilly though, but who doesn't/

I think that Rusty is right, people should have to EARN the right to sport the DR sticker (as well as pay) before they can be associated with us. that's the last thing we need is for our name to be spread around town as total wreckless riders with no regard for others on the road. But who am I, I ride my bike like a harley

I was leaned over trying to drag my knee, as I had been trying to do all year that year. There were alot of cars in drive thru, so I couldn't see ahead of me far enough for how fast I was going. as soon as I straighten up, there is Ryan doing a stoppie.
