Unhappy Friend Passed away 4/19/05. In CT

I just want to be the first to say R.I.P to me Friend Tim G. He was killed lastnight 4/19/05 by an SUV. I havent gotten the whole story yet, so I dont know truelly what happend. He was a motorcycle junky. Anyday we could ride you could always count on him to be down. He was the best stunter in are group. He rode in CT and for awhile he was down in FL. It sucks I last rode with him this past sunday 4/17/05 and as I was branching off I pulled next to him and said "I will met up with you guys later" and beeped my horn and left. I didnt even get a chance to say GOODBYE. I hope he hears my prayers tonight and he watchs over everyone who rides. Knowing Tim he was wearing his helmet and jacket. Ride safe everyone.

P.S from your guys experience do I get on my bike today or do I not ride for awhile?

R.I.P Tim G

First off.....RIP

Secondly, I'm sure he would want you back out on the streets as soon as possible but make sure you're head is clear and you aren't still consumed with hurt for your loss. I've had friends get hurt and killed on their bikes and as soon as we all cleared our heads, we were back out on the steets thinking of our friends!! Now he'll be watching over you and will always be with you when you ride.

That sucks, I'm sorry for your loss. If you see his family, send my condolences. When you find out more info, please post it. I'm tired of people getting away with murdering guys on bikes and the excuse of "I didn't see him/her" being the only excuse needed.

RIP

Stay safe people

Your friend and his family are in my prayers...

As for the bike, every rider needs to know their limits. Figure out what yours is right now, then ride or dont ride.. Be safe, people dont care, only the riders you ride with...

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! You and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

You are the only one who can determine if you are "safe" to ride or not!! What ever you decide to do just be careful...

R.I.P man Im sorry to hear about your friend, Tim. You and all his friends and family have my condolences.

Everyone takes it differently when another rider passes away some need to ride to help them deal with the event others cant. Ive heard of one guy who sold his bike because after his friend passed away all it did would remind him of the old times and the memories hurt and all the fun was gone. Dont ride unless you have a clear head tho man. Again Im sorry for your loss.

R.I.P- dude, get back on the bike, he would want to look down and see you on it. But like Princess said "get your head clear".

Thanks again guys for all your prayers. Tonight 4/25/05 is Tim's memorial. We are going to have a huge motorcycle gathering at our Normal meet up spot and head to the church from there. We all know Tim would've wanted it this way.
