make me a pie

yea chicks had it rough in the 50s.. most didnt have drivers licenses or educations and if their husband was a douchebag, tough they couldnt leave them. people idealize the 50s.. the divorce rate was way lower but the marital satisfaction level was way lower. Now more people get divorced but the marriages are much happier. now women have more reedom/mobility..

there was an epidemic of schizophrenic housewives inth 1950s..'madwives' they called em.. it reached a peak cuz women were forced into the suzie homemaker role and it didnt fit for most of them.

thought id share.. i just took a class on gender.. its mindblowing..

i used to enjoy a good sexist joke but it totally ruined it for me.

I'm a guy, but even I'm glad things are different...

Nowhere on that list does it tell the women to clean the man's bike...

I'M JUST KIDDING.

That list is VERY outdated...half the women on this thread probably have better/harder jobs than I do.

I'm all for equality.

That stuff is TOO funny...

Keep in mind that everything on that list could be accomplished in a few hours. How many hours did that poor dumb s.o.b. just get done working?

All the rules changed when women went to work. I'm cool with that and all. As long as the woman doesn't think that some part time job at speedway means she shouldn't have to clean house or take care of her kids...

My wife works 48+ hours a week and I end up doing more housework and cooking then she does. I'm cool with that cause she is bringing home some fat paychecks, and I'm getting a science degree. In 2004 I'll be working and SHE will be getting the degree so it's all good.
