yers must of been full grown.cuz reticulated pythons get up to 32 feet long.burmese get like 16 at the most

I don't know wut burms yer used to but a guy I worked with at a pet store had 2 burm's a male and female in his basement the whole basement was dedicated to these snakes from a recessed kiddie pool to a log they could climb on upto the ceiling, the female was 22 ft long and the male was 15 ft long. Burmese pytons will get up to 300 lb's and 3-12 ft on average but have known to grow to lengths of 33 ft.
Females range from 8-20 ft in length while the smaller of the species male 8-17 ft.

my uncle was a snake breeder for years b4 he passed.on the average his snakes were 16ft.never seen 1 more than that.but i kno anacondas and reticulated pythons are the biggest snakes.you can look it up anywhere its the facts.burmese im can get bigger than 16ft but its usually rare.without the right enviroment.they need lots of space and that depends on how big they get.and i am talking about home pets no wild.
