Hello Board. Colorado n00b saying Hi.
Hello,
I too am a noob to the site and board.
Definately not cool enough to pull off any stunts, but hey, i can still watch right?
I purchased my first street motorcycle early last year.
it is a 99 Ducati SS 750, Red, half fairing.
it has after market light kits on the front and back but still has the stock pipes which I hope to replace when money allows for it.
I'm not one to be a super stunt man myself, in fact i'm probably one of those people everyone makes fun of just to get a rise. I'm not going to be a fake online persona and say I can do stuff that I cannot, I am just hoping to have a place to hang out and see whats going on.
Hopefully i'm on an open minded board

Anyway here is a pic of my first Street ride (Pic was taken last year):
Re: Hello Board. Colorado n00b saying Hi.
Thanks for the welcome guys.
I grew up in Alaska until highschool, so having a bike was not very important to me then except for dirt biking in trails in the mountains. I saw "Akira" when I was 12 wich
if you couldn't tell by my Avatar.. i've been wanting a ride since '88 on a crazy ride like that.
after moving to colorado mid-highschool.. i got my license during winter and was again thwarted. Finally, last year I was able to put my license to use when my wife "let me" spend the money on a bike.. lol.... Just a few months ago I bought a heated Widder vest for my 4:30am commute into work, that is a lifesaver for sure. the most "Trick" i've done were get up to about 170mph through some very long, wide open curvy mountain roads... and an Endo when a large SUV decided to cut right in front of me near a stop light. (explorer, expedition, excursion, man, these SUVs in Colorado just keep getting bigger and Bigger.. any larger (ford Excavation?) and they'll only have to drive a few feet to go to the next city)

You dont want to stunt that Duc anyways, parts are expensive already.
