How Much Diff in gsxr 600 & 750
Im new to bikes been riding quads for a while.
My question is If I buy a 600 will I be ready for something new in 6 months.
Im 6'2 185lb I hear the 600s are fast and all but for a grand more I can get a 750. undefined

I say since your paying for it, get what ever you want. But many people will disagree. They'll say go with something smaller and used as your first bike. I've been on both bikes and the feel to me was the same. Power of course the 750 will have more, but the 600 is just as good.

I've had both, 750 & 600. Believe it or not, I like the 600 better. I actually downsized to the 600

Re: How Much Diff in gsxr 600 & 750
I've got a 600 and the only reason I would want anything bigger is so I don't have to hear the uneducated riders say "why don't you have a 1000 or 750?" Watch motorcycle racing one day - those guys do more with a 250 - or 600 than you could ever do on a 1000. It's all about the rider. 600's are cheaper on insurance too. 600's are fully capable, cheaper, and slightly lighter. A 600 geared will do whatever a 750 stock will do.

i've ridden pretty much every size bike so far (250, 400, 500, 600, 650, blah blah blah) with my friends and fellow riders, and over all i enjoyed the 600's for the regular and hard-core riding.
I'm not sure for stunts since most of those bike owners would have torn me apart if i would have dropped it, but i'd say the 600 is your happy-medium for everything, just like Jessica Alba.
