hate to break it to you bro but if you ride at all, doesnt matter if you stunt or not. you will go down. i was always told there are 2 kinds of riders those who have wrecked and those who are going to wreck. yeah it sucks but its the cold reality of the sport, either you can accept it or it just aint your bag baby but remember this "Pain Is Temporary"

i crashed so many times its not even funny, i wrecked 2 bikes well lets just say totalled 2 bikes, and i still crash every other day on my gixxer and my 929 so yes you crash alot and not just while stunting you can crash going to work or just out on a ride with friends but you never know. Welcome to stuntlife, since this is the newbie forum

umm, well i havent REALLY crashed stunting, just messed up and dropped it once coming down from being crossed up-just a little road rash. i have dropped it a couple of times doing donuts, but that didnt even put a scratch on it or me.but then again i havent really even started to do what i consider stunting....

I rode a 600 f3 for a while and never downed it. But then with in 500 miles of having the 900rr I got a little cocky and laid it down in a nieghborhood while seeing how low I could get into a corner. Afterwards I realized what I did wrong and it only made me stronger. But other than that I have never crashed doing wheelies or stoppies. *knock on wood* Crashing is part of riding hard so I would start to get used to it.

pain is weakness leaving the body - US Marines
I've dislocated a shoulder, and broke and sprained the same left ankle, all on 3 seperate occations though. But that's doing BMX, and mountain biking. I won't count the number of times I've had nice road rash or sliced up my shins from limbs and pedals, but you learn, not to do that same trick the way you did when you crashed, or you learn were your limits are.

just wear the gear and dont push yourself too fast, i've dropped a bike, first day i had it, lol and i have totaled a bike, broke both knees a femur and a hip, collapsed a lung, but i lived because i had gear on. If you start stuntin just make sure youre in a big area with no objects around, or cars. Cause cement walls hurt like a bitch!!! He is pic for you and there more in my gallery.

Iv layed it down once on the race track, crashing up my faring and sliding a good ways, and then landed wrong on a jump, and im still dealing with some ankle problems 6 months later. heh But hey i wear it like a badge of honor, if you dont fall your not learning . Oh and welcome to SL

I just thought of something on this topic..........there's two kinds of motorcycle riders.......Ones that have been down, and those that are going down If someone never even lays their bike over, then either they've never touched a bike or just make noises on it in the garage(which can still fall over )

i did the same thing a while back, tore all three ligaments in half. doc told me that i could have surgery if i decided to, but that he though that i might be better off without it. i got full movement back without surgery in about two weeks. no pain. really surprised me. how long ago did you have surgery and has it helped a lot?? just wanted to hear from someone who has had it how it went.
