I was planning on getting 2003 gsxr 1000, A lot of other people told me that was a bad idea on clsb and although i do know its crazy fast ive had 6 years on dirt and ridden liter bikes of friends before. Tell me what you all think. And ive been addicted since i registered

I think that you will be fine with the 1000. I was in the same situation. I rode dirt for 4 years before buying my first bike and I listened to the masses. My first street bike was an R6. Great bike, but low on power especially for a big guy like me. Now I have a 954 and I love it.
Another question, Do you plan on stunting the 1000 or just riding and the occassional wheelie??

I disagree. For a new streey rider and street is MUCH different than dirt... having a bike with that much power can get you into many hairy situations that you cant get out of.
A bike with THAT much power isnt very forgiving and there is MUCH less room for error than with a smaller powered bike. Why do you think so many new guys get killed on thier brand new big bikes?
Think logical before you get silly.
OH YEAH, John and R6 is a low 11 sec high 10 second bike. Thats not slow.
