Pozer in San Diego
Pozer in San Diego
What up. Guess I'll introduce myself, since I've had nothing else better to do this weekend other than be stranded at the homestead reading this forum and scouring criagslist every hour since my bike got jacked friday.
I found this site about a year ago when I first became interested in stunting. Came back from deployment a few months ago and sunk a grand into my bike, getting a 12 bar, cage, pegs, upper stays, 1 down 6 up sprocket, and crg shorties.
The plan was to head down to the 905 3-4x a week and log some hours on the seat, but I sorta blew 10 grand within a month and a half of being back from deployment
and was too broke to even afford gas money to work for about 3 months. Being that my bike is my daily commuter and stunt bike I didnt plan on breaking **** until I had a cushon in my savings account. I'll tell you i lived like a god damn rockstar for that month and a half
Anyways, nothing special here. I just learned my balance point last month, and have been toying with stoppies a bit. Snowboarding, the Gym, and learning how to Stunt is where i sink all my free time lately.
Once I get the insurance claim I'll sink 2-4 grand into a pre-stunted out bike that i can thrash. I'll post updates on the claim, the new bike, and my own personal progress as the weeks go by.

Re: Pozer in San Diego
Just put a down payment on a black 06 636 with 4k miles on it for 4.5G's. I'm getting it from this shop I get hooked up at all the time (http://www.jpmotorsports.net). They know the entire history of the bike. Previous owner kept it in pristine condition the entire time he had it, it was stolen and recovered though so it has a salvage title but I'll just swap frames.
Bike is clean, got a killer deal on this... I'll post pics later.

its an 06 636 with 4k miles on it... would generally go for 6-7 grand. Swap frames for 500-700? payed 5 - 5.2 grand for a 6-7G bike. I get hooked up at 905 so to fully setup the bike should cost me like 600 more? I'm talking cage, pegs, stays, 12 bar (if i even want to put a 12 bar on it, I haven't made up my mind yet) sprocket chain and levers.
that;s not including stabilizer, oil pan, and rear handbreak but whatever. I'm not even to that skill level yet. I'll still have enough money for a Flat screen 50 inch TV which I need.
New bike, new gear, new TV. I'm, happy.

I have a 06 black 636 as well, I am getting a Impaktech cage for it in a couple weeks. New to the stunt scene but have been riding for 13 yrs. Looking to meet with some more experienced stunters to get some good advice. I live in Otay Ranch, hit me up, I could use some pointers.
