In light of a shitty Baz Lurman film trying to advertise what little good things there are in Australia, I thought I'd join up and introduce myself.
I own a Silver '03 R1. my first big bike, have had it for just over a year.
Been pretty keen to turn it into a dedicated stunter recently. Im a member of WCS (WestCoastStuntors), a local stunt crew on the west coast of Aus. There's a few pro's here and due to the small numbers, everyone's pretty approachable and friendly.
Next year I'll be upgrading to a newer bike and will aim at turning the R1 into a stunt bike. Buy some cheap ebay fairings, sprocket, cage and 12 bar...... so I'll be lurking around for the next few months taking in as much as I can. Seeing if there are others out there stunting big heavy 1000cc bikes..... are there????
At the moment my stunt-skills consist of stand-ups, 1st and second power and clutched and the occasial rolling stoppie.... but as it's my only steed I havent been too daring, dont want to see it sliding down the road. also, it isnt geared that well for slow manouveres. when I go out to stunt-seshes, what I do at 100mph, a few of the pro's can do it at a jogging pace (I so want a 60t sprocket!!)
anyways....... here's some pics.
