Hey from the UK

Hey everyone I'm new here, just starting out passed my bike test two weeks ago and got a kwak ZXR 400. Really enjoying riding but wanna get cracking on the stunts and having trouble mastering wheelies, I can clutch the front wheel up easy from a slow roll in first but any higher gear and it just doesn't pick up, even dropping the clutch from 12k+. Feels like the bike might be bogging down or clutch slipping so don't know if it's me or the bike, gonna check the chain tension as it's a bit slack and try again tomorrow. Can't keep it at the balance point in first gear either as cos it's such a low gear the bike feels 'snappy' i.e engine braking just yanks the front down and the throttle is quite twitchy. Guess I just need to read the how-tos and get lots of practice in, will be reading the forums from now on. Cheers

Re: Hey from the UK

for circles and slow wheelies only use 1st gear dude....use the foot brake to stop the bike from going too far back and always get the front wheel up to 12oclock as fast as possible homey...then use the FB(footbrake) to slow it down...hope that helps but some forums will show you step to step what to do
