hi, men and motors on sky tv did a program on the o5 event
it didnt really show much, im not sure if there is a dvd yet on the 06
event?
the comp is a 1kilo wheelie , fastest wins, the front must be up for the minimum 1 kilo but we have a run up space of over a mile,
the record stand at 172mph by a guy called terry callcot on a 05 gsxr 1000,
and a guy called ghost rider posted a flying wheelie (not the same catagory) of 216 mph
its to be held at elvington air feild some time in sept this year,
i can post all the details when i know more,
matt

Re: hi from the uk
cool ...i use to do 6th gear pretty tached out on my 01 gsxr 1000,its was fun and i had to be going some where near 150 mph..
we would run a certain intersection going that fast and catch some pretty good air..
jumping a gsxr 1000 at 140 in a wheelie would make some good video ,wish i thought of it when i still had the bike

Re: hi from the uk
if your in sixth gear on a k1 id say you were closer to 170mph,
that would get you in the top 10 in last years comp,
i did last year on a standard k1 1000 ,more savage than the 03 1000
i have now, i also had a 03 12ninja tuned to 220bhp but i couldnt see
past the big screen , thats why im on this one ,
it would be great to see more stunters over here, we have 60 members on our forum you have thousands, its great
as for jumping , ill keep just one wheel on the floor
