yep i flipped it 3 times in half year... all broken brake lines. i flipped rew coster,broken brake line. man i hate drum brakes

You don't have a fiddie. Your bike is way too big to be considered a fiddie. It's more about the size of the bike, not the size of the motor.

Cali just changed their laws a few years ago. You can still buy and sell 2-strokes that are grandfathered in. You can also transfer road titles from different states. Ohio has very lenient rules so you can transfer an off road only title to a street tilte in Ohio, then transfer it to your state.

I guess that makes sense. I was just thinking about trying to get the title switched in this state. Maybe I'll get a CR500 and "sell" it to Scoot.

id go with something that isnt designed to have the piston replaced every 20 minutes

but man, a cr500 sure would be fun on the streets with a small rear sprocket.

And overheats in traffic. There is a guy on supermotojunkie that has a street legal CR500AF motard. The thing is sick as ****! It's all annodized black and is a mean bitch.

Every 2 stroke needs a piston every 20 minutes. A 250 lasts longer than a 125, maybe a 500 lasts longer than a 250.

Can you imagine a 500 with sticky tires? That would be so much fun.

Even a CRF450 needs to have the oil changed every 500 miles of street riding. Although the piston will probably last a season or two. That's why I got the DRZ. Heavier and slower, but a LOT less maintanance.

What about the KTM motards? I know they're expensive but what's the maintenance like compared to a CRF 450?
