my sport trac. and my brothers old 05 silverado did very similar with gas mileage... when we both got back we both spent about the same in gas.. he might of spent 10 bucks more... but he was also able to go over 100 mph.. my truck tops out at 97... lame

 

he's a broke *** high school drop out who makes as much as a slave child in india. he needs a smart buy. my old Taco's hauled a broke down ford mustang on the highway for 4 hours straight with no problem. it'll do the job and live longer.

You'd be surprised. American full size trucks are extremely reliable. The cars are hit or miss but they don't **** around with the trucks.

My Silverado 2wd reg cab short box gets 24mpg on the hwy. and averages 18.4 city/hwy combined per the comp. in the dash

 

**** it though. i've known enough people who had those things and they were constantly working on them. i looooove the super duty, for example, but i don't trust it due to the reputation of american workmanship. of course, i've been reading on the Titan and Consumer Reports says that it's a fixer upper too, but the Frontier and Tacoma have been doing very well. plus a smaller truck is easier to find parking in the city, which is important to me.

In July and August of 2008 the F150 outsold the Tundra 3 to 1. I'll see if I can find any other info. The only ones the Tundra outsold were the Titan and Mark LT.
