Tech

• The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
• All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

it has the same gaskets and vent hole as the one on my other 636 and the caps switch between the 2 so I'm guessing they are made by the same place but the ebay one has no logo on it...

I like the no logo part


It will be a few weeks before it gets installed and rode with but it looks like it will seal up good... the underside of the base is just like the name brand one that came on the other bike....

i know the vortex breaks if u tighten too much and u really gotta seal that *****. i know gil's leaks like crzy. stupid gas caps. even my stocker leaks now that the tank is dented. i took a closer look and the inner seal is warped. sucks...every time i wheelie i get gas ALL over myself.

gil pointed out i should only be riding with 1/2 a tank at all times.

I prefer O.E. caps but 1 bike came with an afro-market one and the other bike came with no keys... I had a key made for it, it only works in the ignition and trunk...so the cap has to go...

 

so anywho, i went out and got a vertical eyebrow piercing and i pulled my hair over it so people at work wouldn't see. yesterday was a breeze and no one noticed, but today, my hair is all wavy and doesn't quite cover all the time. after several shocked looks, i ran out and got a retainer...but the stupid ball isn't coming off.

 

i bought one of those piece of *****, then vent was just a hole drilled and when gas would slosh around it would go through the hole into the outside ring wear the cap sits and pour into my tank dent. garbage. the one they pictured was way differant than the one i recieved.
