You CAN do it without the f4i plug but you shouldnt. Nags is one of those 'by the book' guys for whom splicing into the main harness is absolutely not acceptable. I wouldn't do it either But it certainly can be done.

no way. if u really wanna sell it, i'll trade u my f4i setup and give u like 20 bucks. but mike, nags, omer, neal, me, and prolly even dre, alie, becky, ninjawhatshisname, kelm, lynn, juja, that 13 year old kid who accidently did a circle wheelie, and the hideously deformed guy from the 80's movie Mask can explain how to make that setup work. it is doable, man. now quit trippin.

lol but cuttin into the wire harness does sound fishy.

 

basically, all u'd do is cut the plug where the starter/kill switch connects to on the wire harness and solder or cremp those loose wires onto the wires of the starter kill switch. the plug is the middle man; ur cutting out the middle man and connecting all the wires permanently.

u should really lay off the weed, son.

i dont know what the rr wires look like. i have an f4i wiring diagram that im pretty fluent with, but nothing for an rr.

 

i hear ya. i know i sound like a squid and all, but im just ******* broke and ******* up a wire harness will put me back atleast a week lol...

 

i highly doubt that the colors match.
i'm still looking for the name of those generic plugs so u'll know what to ask for at auto zone.
