Imagine if you had a real pool.

 

you mean in ground? Yes, it would suck. My current pool takes about an hour to vacuum unless its real bad

My dog has one of those.

 

i started out with one of those, after a week i moved up to the biggest kiddy pool you can get. Then I supported the sides with cinder blox so it could hold 2 feet of water. Just enough to dive into. Then I got a 25 foot circular pool for free minus the liner, so I put that up at my parents old house. I think my current pool is 22 or 23 feet.

 

I shopping for a shock collar for my dog. I get so apprehensive shopping on line.

 

I've contemplated the shock collar. My dog gets so excited sometimes that I think that's the only way to get her attention. I don't think I could do it though. I've been shocked with those and it doesn't feel very good.

 

I don't feel great about it either but a couple weeks ago I was walking him through the woods which I was doing every day and a deer came across the trail and he bolted after him and was gone for like 20 minutes. I thought I was never going to see him again. I though it be better to avoid situations like that in the future and get something that I know will stop him.

Our dog did the same thing to my wife. She was scared shitless.

I'd look for one that beeps when it shocks. That one doesn't say it does. This trains the dog that a shock follows the beep and pretty quick the beep will make them behave.

 

I'm looking into that.

I put one on when I was drunk once and ran out of my friends yard repeatedly .... it hurt but was tolerable

 

We were all drinking and you had to take a turn putting it on and running around a bush that was outside the invisible fence. It wasn't bad enough that it incapacitated you but it did sting pretty good.
