I saw your post about the starter being slow when it's hot. I'd never seen Neal post that before.

• The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
• All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

hmmm i realy wanna say the rectifier .

 

I used the rectifier which was on my bike with my last motor and it was good. I swapped stators from the old motor into the new to me motor and still same thing.

Word. Took my boys battery and put it in my bike and it did the same thing and then took my battery and put it in his bike and his **** started right up. I visually inspected the wiring and didnt see anything wrong anywhere. How would I be able to check it with the volt meter? Cant you check for continuity or some ****?

When I try to restart it initially it will kick over but just not start and then as I keep trying eventually it will only kick over once and then just die - sorta like a dead battery but I checked the voltage on the battery and its still good

I can't imagine it taking more than an hour or two?

Or I can leave work early. Or on the weekend? Or after riding one night? I'm not scared to first start in the middle of the night lol

was planning on doing that before swapping starters but like omr said it only happens when the bike warms up so it'll probably fire right up if I jump it off the battery

 

rectifiers go out all the time

 

I've had new rectifiers fix that problem as well as new batteries

 

ok since i think you just said it turns over fine at first , you can scratch the starter .... thats apperently working fine . is the fuel pump priming when its hot ? if not it could just have a screwed up relay or something stupid

he told me the bike was charging above 14 volts so the rectifier should be fine and neal when i said labor i was describing the starter laboring to turn the motor over when the bike is hot which is what you told me it was doing
