Holidays should be great this time of year with the fam.

When do you get your grades?

 

we've been together for almost 3 years....living in the same state since july. i'm not wanting to get married tomorrow but sometime within the next 3 years will be nice because i'll still have 'it'.
i want a big wedding because i never had a real wedding, i got married at the courthouse and that was super gay. now....by big wedding i mean invite maybe 250 people...half might show, the other half won't be able to afford airfare and hotels.

 

Probably not until after christmas. I always hated that.

if you want to invite 250 though, you still need to budget for that amount. Only invite the people you think will actually come. Thats less $$ you need to spend on invites, centerpieces, etc..

here's the thing....i know for a fact that those people wont' show up, they're in kansas, i know they won't fly here for a wedding and pay for a hotel. when planning for a wedding you should expect all but 1/3 to show up....not always though, my friend had every single person show at hers.

 

what's "it"? i don't know why but i'm just against big weddings. i guess 125 people isnt too bad though.

percs on work on me when i'm in pain, so i kinda wish i was in pain with some percs to take.

It must be hard after not being in it for so long. But think of the long term results, that helps you get through the rough times.

yeah it sucks. i feel like being out of school for so long and then going from a kansas school to a ny school isn't too good either.

 

Thats exactly why you need to budget for all to show up (if you inviteed them all) because you never know will who actually fly in. My sister was married in July, we went over her guest list no lie about 10 times. Crossed off people who wouldnt come and got the number to 105 for our side of the family, and about 45 for the groom's. In total about 140 came. Not bad since the first list was over 225, it saved them alot of dough.
