my first truck was a dakota with the 3.9 it was severely underpowered. I dumped a few grand into the engine to get it up to like 250 hp and it was still a turd. And the transmission behind the 3.9 is also weak sauce.
I love dakotas and I do want another one, but only one with a 4.7. The 4.7 is a 10 year old jeep motor that comes with the 545RE transmission, which is an awesome tranny. The 3.9 is 3/4 of a 318, which was designed in the 60's.
Id also never buy one without 4wd unless i moved to florida

1. if i had teh money to drive to fl in teh middle of the winter, id rather spend it on airplane tickets to british colombia, to go skiing
2. One day, pretty soon, my tranny is going to give out completely and leave me on teh side of the road. When that happens (not if) it would suck to be in another state, with my trailer, and my favorite bike.
3. My whole family lives in florida, i cant stand them, except for my dad.
4. I dont enjoy comps. I dont even go to the local ones. Freerides are cool tho
i have more reasons bu tthey require explanations lol

- The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
- The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
- All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

my friend mark thought his 636 was a jet ski and went off into the ditch..
then some kid from MMI on his new buell totally looped and smashed that lil *** subframe.
