Go in your device manager and check under Display Manager

 

My guess is he doesn't have a driver installed, hence his graphics probably being in 800x600 mode. Probably because the OS doesn't recognize the card, so it probably doesn't know what it is.

 

so what can i do? lol i looked in the device manager but couldnt figure out how to tell which my video card is?
