• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section

what is it that actually ***** up on the wire harness? do people replace the whole thing if one buss fuse goes out?

 

well, i'ma go have a seat on the throne then go to sonic.

 

I replaced mine because of one wire. the wire went into the big grey plug that goes to the ecu. The wire broke, I soldered it. Then it broke 3/4" away, and I soldered it there. Then it broke inside the connector. I couldnt repair that without destroying the whole connector, so i put in my backup wire harness and made that wire 1" longer before even riding it.

 

and then a lot of times a wire will break, but its shielding wont, so the wires will still be touching inside. everything will appear to be good visibly, and the bike will start, but as soon as you clutch it up, gravity pulls that wire apart and youre engine dies.

If youre good with a multi meter you can figure out which wire is the problem in a couple of hours, and then spend another couple of hours repairing it. Or you can swap the whole main harness in half an hour. It took me an hour last time because I smoked pot 3-4 times during that hour and masturbated at least once.
