i was on wall street but my pitch would - well never mind lol. my pitch was good enough for them to send over money. BUT when they would receive their statements and see that theyre down 50% or whatever the number was, they would close their accts out and id be on to the next guy. i did have people that i made money for but the majority of the people lost a **** load. We only dealt with wealthy people tho. we didnt go after the average mom and pop investor. we qualified and dealt w people with at least 1/2 a mill in the market in regular stocks - not company options. so its not like we put anyone in the poor house. they were investors who knew the risks.

 

nope. we didnt catch spreads and **** like in boiler room. we bought actual stocks in real companies but a lot of them went down when the market took a ****. i dont feel any guilt coz like i said they were investors who knew the risks of the market

Were you guys artificially pumping up stock prices or just working on commision? Were you trying to make people money or you planned on screwing them the whole time?

 

 

I said it once and i said it coz you were asking if i scammed people which i didnt so i explained who i dealt with and that they were investors who knew the risks. just like you - if you put money in the market and it went to 0 - you know the risks of the market

jeeez i shouldnt have said **** lol. we bought companies like microsoft and sun microsystems. theres no artifically pumping up those stock prices but those companies still dropped 70 and 80% in value. Of course we were trying to make people money. If they made money we made money and didnt lose clients. No one wants to keep rebuilding a book of business but thats the reality of a stockbroker unless youre trading on inside info then your reality is jail eventually.

 

i have seen pics of him from the side like a profile shot and pics of me from the same angle and i hate admit it but we do look a lot alike from that angle

I use edward jones for all my transcactions, they are not a shady investor firm ... transaction fees are fairly cheap, I've dealt with a few different advisors and mostly aagreed with their outlooks ... usually i just call teh offiec and tell them i want such and such done and they just do it ....

 

That sounds on the up and up. I wanted to know if it was anything like boiler room.

 

i have a friend that got pulled into a boiler room scam. the police questioned the **** out of him a few times (days/weeks apart) but never filed charges against him or the other employees. They had some serious charges for the owners, but those guys mysteriously disappeared. fake names and all
