Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
i am studying all the time it seems like. well, all the time i can. some things i get, others i don't. anatomy and physiology will be the death of me. i had my first final yesterday, but i won't find out my grade until thursday. i looooove pharmacology, i didn't think i would, but i do. the math is so simple and i thought that was my weakness. i start nutrition next week, i'm kinda excited for that.
as long as i pass all my classes, i start clinicals the 2nd week of dec. i'm really excited for that

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
i just don't get anatomy. mike is pretty good at helping me think of ways to remember them, but some of the stuff just doesn't sink in.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
what is the water content of the body on average for an adult?
what different regulaters take part in water balance regulation?
what does intracellular fluid do?
what does extracellular fluid do?
that's all i remember .... probably some stuff about atp and transference also

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
listen to this crap...
one of my responsibilities is setting up voicemail forwarding here. We dont own the vm boxes, our telephone service provider does, and we (admins) access the system via a dial up BBS type deal. Thats why i was asking around for a modem last week. So I found a pair of USR 56k courrier modems in some retired guys pile of stuff.
I cant get either of them to work. Windows detects it fine and installs the driver without a hiccup. If i push the speaker button on, i hear dial tone fine. But when I click "dial" nothing happens. The first thing that should happen is the OH light coming on (off hook) and thats not. I tried both modems, and just reinstalled a driver straight off usr's site. God i ****** hate modems. Why is there no web access for this system?

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
what is the most prevalent anion and cation?
NaCl
what is the water content of the body on average for an adult?
50% for women, 60% for men...cause men are 'fatter'
what different regulaters take part in water balance regulation?
what do you mean regulators? we didn't go over that...maybe it's used in a different term
what does intracellular fluid do?
helps maintain shape and transfer nutrients in and out of cells
what does extracellular fluid do?
helps maintain blood pressure for the majority of the part....it's 1/3 of the fluid outside of cells
that's all i remember .... probably some stuff about atp and transference also

ions = ca"t"ion is positive ions....the "t" is a plus sign
and anions are the negative.
opposites attract to form stuff.
ionization reminds me of cheaters...they leave one compound to form another
dehydration and overhydration...but those are pretty self explanitory.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
very good miss b ..... except the most prevalent cation is potassium and the most prevalent anion is phosphate
water balance regulators are hypothalamic, renal, adrenal, pituitary, and i know there are a few more I just can't remember them all

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
potassium and phosphate are the most dominant ones...
i had to go back over my notes because i knew i was right lol
