Re: Omr Subcage
I got lucas in my truck engine oil . It bumps your oil pressure up though cause it makes the oil thicker .
Re: Omr Subcage
I use a little thinner oil in conjunction with the Lucas
Re: Omr Subcage
All done with the f4i for today. Did the plugs, oil, and lubed the chain. Time for a nap yaaaawn
Re: Omr Subcage
Me too. It's not really a pick up, it's a baffle.
A little.

Re: Omr Subcage
hmm.. theres an 02 f4i down here with no upper and **** with a rebuildable title for 1000 bucks
Re: Omr Subcage
When i first bought the lucas engine oil additive , it was winter and i had it in my garage . I did an oil change on my truck , and went to put the lucas in and it was like jello and didn't want to pour out of the bottle .
I had to put the bottle in my house on a heater vent for almost a day to return it back to room temperature
Lucas is definitely thick , more than STP (aka Sticky Tiger **** , aka Stay Together Please )

Re: Omr Subcage
ugh, I don't know if I should get that or not
Re: Omr Subcage
Lucas is basically pure petroleum . When it heats up , it becomes thinner .
Lucas is designed to cling to parts of an engine . (or tranny)
I seen a demonstration where this guy had a sprocket with a hand crank on it . There were other little sprockets , next to the big sprocket , that were being driven by it . They were all enclosed in glass in had some lucas oil at the bottom of the glass case .
As you spun the crank on the big sprocket , the oil would be pulled up by the teeth of the sprockets and lubricate them all . When you stopped cranking , most of the oil would return to the bottom of the glass case , but the sprockets would still have a film of oil left on them .
That is why lucas says it helps decrease "initial start up" . That is when most of engine wear occurs .
When you start an engine , regular oil is at the bottom of the pan .
If lucas is added , in theory , the inside of the engine should have a film of lucas on the moving parts before start up .

- The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position!
- The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
- All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
- omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping
