is this the longest you've ever been away? you were in mass for 3 months, right? Maybe its because this move feels more permanent that the other. I've been dealing with that, too. Just remember why you wanted to be in LI so bad. I miss NY alot, but I want to live in Orlando. There's a difference that you understand once you get into the swing of things.

 

if it was just me i could probably do it in under $20 a week. i have kids...and then there is mike. plus we're at home all day so we eat 3 meals a day here, plus snacks in between. i drink coffee for breakfast. sometimes i eat lunch (i mainly munch) and then i'll eat dinner and have an evening snack. the kids eat breakfask, lunch and dinner, plus at least 1-2 snacks. mike eats dinner only unless it's the weekend.

wow, your lucky. I'm on a healthy lifestyle change and fresh produce is expensive!!! Sometimes, produce alone can be $30 a week for me.

this is the longest i've been gone and yes i know it's cause i know this is permanent and the other one i knew wouldn't be.
i love it here yet i hate it at the same time. i think once i get in school it'll be ok. i just HATE staying at home all day. it's so boring, my kids never go away, this is the longest i've went without having a 'break'. people think i have it easy.....pffft i go crazy

i think i do good. i'll make a box of pasta and munch on it for lunch all week long. i even feed it to the kids as well half the time. we always eat left overs. i refuse to waste any food.

you need to find a good babysitter and have a date night with mike. you need some time to have some fun. there must be so much to see in long island, have you explored it at all?

 

only on vacations. there are no sitters here, i've already looked into it a little. plus i asked what the on going rate was for them....too expensive. when my moms here she'll babysit.

 

thank you!! i want to loose more but i'm 'plateauing'. I started walking and doing water aerobics, its working a little, but its also killing my knee, so I kinda feel stuck until surgery is over and done with.
