Regarding The spoof endo pic
I've been into photography for a while and me and a buddy of mine wanted to do a cool pic with the bike. When I had posted a spoof pic on my Myspace profile portraying myself balancing a bike on its nose, that pic was reposted in Stuntlife by one of their members. As these forum members were not taking the pic as mere satire, but rather as something serious, and something to somehow diminish their own skills, they did some hating on it. But many know that Stuntlife is known for much hating buttholery, and they know they have dished it out to many people. So instead of openly denouncing the pic as a spoof out of the gate, I went to the forum and spoke up on the pic as if it were real, which was clearly impossible. The more I insisted it was real, the more they tried to disprove it. I viewed this as a non-threatening game... as little "dishing out" of the same hatery they have given to so many others. The flaws with the pic were obvious, and having these flaws, it would have been impossible for most people to have taken the pic seriously. For example, the lights and power on the motorcycle were off, the rear tire was not turning and there was no exhaust, to name a few. People who were "in the know" on this pic were wondering how long it would take anyone to point out that simple fact. When someone finally did, I gave a slight amount of additional BSing, and then posted the word "OWNED" a number of times. This was to in effect say "Ha ha, yes it was a joke and you've been taking time to try to figure out this pic. OK it was fun. But yes the pic is a spoof."
I believe it should have ended their, but evidently some Stuntlife members didn't share that opinion. I gather they felt as they had been "taken for a ride," as they have so freely done with so many others. So rather than seeing the pic as the joke and satire is was meant to be, they saw the pic as a personal attack on them and an affront on their own skills. As a result, without my permission they went into my Photobucket account and started removing pictures to be posted in the Stuntlife forum (it brings to mind images of someone dressed in black sneakily invading your home to steal your private and personal possessions). So taking a step further, and without knowing their origin or meaning, they posted up my personal pics in the forums to be ridiculed for "daring" to display this endo pic on my profile. After several hundred posts and finding no more ammunition in my personal Photobucket pics to use, they then turned to something else... my own skills and experience as a rider, saying that I was a "poser"... that I did not even ride or race at all. And it is still going to this day. Despite numerous offers and invitations to come see or meet me in person, to roll with me for a while and see how I ride, anyone has yet to come forward and take me up on that invite.
