I've always run DID X-Rings or Tsubaki's top of the line chain. They last me forever, so I don't care about the price. I've never had an issue with noise. I'm running a DID right now and have DID and Tsubaki extras. Mine's pretty rusty, I should switch it out.

i have heard that dot 5 is bad for a brake system that is not designed for dot 5..motul rbf 600 fist choice and valvoline synthetic dot 4 for a second choice

I got 4000 miles on this chain and sprocket and it makes a ton of clanking noises and slapping around. The sprockets teeth are still good sort of but its just annoying.

on the bike , my chain and sprokets have been on this bike since i got it about 2 years and 20,000 miles ago and it still looks like new

Yeah ima take better care of this setup when i get it. Do you know what Mike was talkin about when he said seal rings
And do you lube up your clutch cable too?
