I need to stop at the stealership tonight to order some caliper bolts. Those are bolts that I do not have laying around and I will not use some **** I found at the hardware store.

 

 

$65 for used caliper and pads. I can get aftermarket pads for about $25. I'm going to check with the dealer.

when im in a sit down circle, very often it'll stand up straight from me putting too much pressure on the right side of the bike. It seems that I cant give it enough brake to keep the front down without putting too much pressure on the right side. My heel is already off the peg completely, the only thing im touching over there is the brake pedal, but sometimes I have to really mash it hard. My theory is that with grippier pads, I wont have to use so much pressure to get that much braking force.

I need to check to see if the f4i ignition works in a 954. If so I need to get my mangled f4i key straightened out and a copy made.

 

damn way too much. Ive gotten a couple sets of honda calipers for 25 shipped. One of em was off a new bike, pads werent even broken in

 

thats on my r&d bike. it somehow never made it to the production unit. Maybe it should though, good point.

they wear out fastest from low altitude stoppies. lower pressure wears em out faster too.

• The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position!
• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
• All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
