the guy who lived here before left a non cordless phone without caller id built in. the phone works perfect so if i can find a caller id box that is cheap then i will pick it up instead of buying a new phone with one.

My TV doesn't have it but my Satellite box did. If I switch to digital phone service, it'll come through my cable box. I don't think I've seen a TV with a phone jack on it.

A corded phone costs like $5. I don't think you'll find a separate caller id box.

at this point it would be easier to buy an old tdi vw and build a new chassis and cab around the drivetrain. Wouldnt be 4wd but at least it would have fancy stuff like a VIN and more than 2 gears
