It will be stunted a little. The airbox flappervalve is already removed and it has the idle mod dome.

I got all that **** removed on my 929 but stock on my 954. You'll loose low end power by removing all that but you'll get more consistent power.

I might just get a set of these instead of paying $300 to get the fairing set I have painted. I could probably part out the factory fairings to cover the cost.

I'm 5 up in the back of the 929 and it still don't explode like the 954.

Don't get me wrong, doing that **** is awesome for stunting.. But I like my 954 stock :YEAH

Nags what do you think would be the best gearing for a 954? I plan on riding it to work, buzzing around Detroit on the higways, crusing around downtown, highway killing, and the occasional lot session.

PS it's getting a handbrake so more engine brake isn't a real concern.

Its got the same set up as an F4i. I am going to tear it down to the airbox to check the airfilter, so I might as well do it while I am in there.

Ok, I'll leave it out. any tips on how to cut back the muffler? Is it a multi chamber design like the f4i? I want to keep the stocker so it runs sewing machine quiet, then get a cheap slipon.

I'm goign through it right now and seeing what's missing and what is roached up and needs to be replaced. Litle rubber bushings that are squished and **** like that. I want this bike to feel really tight and fresh. I might replace all of the wheel, swing arm, and steering stem bearings this winter.
