No. Not that I know of. There were two that went to my highschool from the next town over. They were younger than me and adopted by a white family.

 

yikes, i'd hate to live where u grew up. i dont like being around too many of one kind of people, not even too many hondurans such as myself

 

My town was two groups of people. Poor white people and upper middle class white people.

 

I wouldnt mind going a full day without hearing people speaking 12 different languages

 

classism can be another bitch but i can handle that with no problem. i have a career like the middle upper class (and hopefully like the upper class if i get this new gig) but i hang with the lower class cuz they have tools that i can borrow for fixing my stuntbike. upperclass don't fix ****. they pay muhfuckas.

 

It was great though. It was a safe area. There was no crime. People still don't lock there doors and leave the keys in their cars. Everyone knows everyone and is real friendly. That's one of things I hate when I leave Maine, everybody is rude. In my town and most of Maine, you wave to everyone, you say hello to people you meet on the street. Outside of Maine it's rare to even get a thank you when you buy something at a store.

I grew up in an upper middle class home but my father is a construction worker. I think that kept me very grounded. We were always working outside and in the garage.

 

There was never an issue in the town I lived in. Surprisingly, there was very little racism. The surrounding towns that had much less money, were much more racist.

 

Yeah if someone says hi to me, I start wondering why I dont remember whwere I know them from.

 

I like country and rednecks but theres not much of a job market in the sticks
