I saw tiny little bubbles come out occassionally today but not consistently. I'm bleeding at my rear caliper. So you dont use any rubber hose? You just keep your finger over the bleeder at the caliper, pump the brakes then hold and then move your finger away to let the fluid out and then cover the bleeder again with your finger? Just wanna make sure coz I always use the tube. And when I say always I mean the 2 or 3 times I bled my brakes.

You dont take your finger off the bleeder.. keep it there with constant pressure on the nipple

sounds like your caliper isn't sliding like it should take it off and clean and lube the slides

i just keep pressure on the bleeder with my finger and pump , there is plenty of pressure from pumping to push the fluid out past your finger you don't need to take it off ...

now with that being said a clear hose works also as long as you hold it up so when your pumping the bubbles will go up but the fluid stays in the line and doesn't allow the caliper to suck air......

gotta run to the store be right back

I'll give that a shot later or tomorrow before going to Mike's. Supposed to rain tomorrow anyway but I'm gonna get up early to try and fix it in case it doesnt rain.

Quick question. Do you keep your finger over the bleeder the whole time without closing the bleeder? Basically push the fluid out with each pump with your finger on the bleeder?

I bought one which wouldnt create any vacuum at all. I returned that bitch and got another one which initially created enough vacuum but when I used it I didnt know exactly what the **** I was doing so it got flooded with fluid. Then today I tried to use it and there wasnt any vacuum for whatever reason. I bled the front brakes without it no problem when I swapped to steel lines and we had the rear bled the other day nicely but since fluid sat on the pads and rotors overnight I took the calipers off to torch the pads. When I tried to get the bolt off the caliper we realized that the banjo fitting or whatever the end of the line is called was too tight on the bolt to get a socket on it. I swapped the lines with another set which had an angled end and now I cant get the air out of the lines.
