Dre - IMO thats not a good buy unless youre gonna buy another frame and title to be able to register it. From what i know if it has a certificate of destruction or whatever its called you can not register it again.

 

He's probably catchin up on his reading plus I pm'd him my question when I responded to a pm from him.

Word. Yo Mike answered my question about the caliper. Any idea why my pedal is going down so far when I hit it? I took the caliper & pads off abd when I put them back on now its all fucked up.

 

and yes thats a floating caliper neal ,if your breaks are squishy then you have air in the lines and i just hose them off with water if i get brake fluid on them i mean as long as it hasn't been saoked in brake fuid for hours

 

i was thinkin it would make a good parts bike
especially since i heard $1600 for the parts for my bike
another 200 and that bike could be mine
i figured ide be better to just get that and have a complete bike to take parts from

you dont think so??

I'm like 99% sure there's no air in the lines. I bled them ***** real good - no air bubbles in the tubing when I crack the bleeder but the pedal goes all the way down like there's air. Ehhh I'll have another go at it tomorrow I suppose. ****** hate working on bikes but I do like learnin this **** instead of paying someone to do it.

If youre getting it for a parts bike then yeah I suppose thats good. Especially if you have to pay 1600 for whatever you need anyway. You can run the vin number. There was a free site to run the vin number that was posted on here a couple of weeks back.

• The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position!
• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
• All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
