Re: Breakfast Club

Ive heard micron is the best for yamaha. Im just stubborn. I want new. Micron new is expensive. And I found a TRC Yosh racing brand new for 280 or a regular Yosh for 250 new. Im also debating on if I should get a stabilizer first or an exhaust. Id like to get a full system but that would have to wait until spring probably.
The power commander is just something to get and hold on to until I get the exhaust

Cut your stock exhaust down and definately get a GPR. I will never ride without one again, they're so sweet. Actually I cut my 636 stock can down and I'm putting that back on for the spring. I'm gonna have to remap my commander. If you end up getting one, make sure you get the USB hook up one so you can download your own maps. I change mine all the time from my laptop.

I'm telling you man, I rode for 6 years without one and now I will never ride without one again. The Japs must agree because almost every new bike comes with one stock. The bike handles so much cleaner and doesn't feel like you have to fight it when your hitting up the twisties.

The are now, the old ones were not. My buddy made the mistake of buying an older version and had to take it to a certified shop to download a map, or they came predownloaded.

I agree, sometimes you can find a used one (I did) for half the price. I paid $200 for mine which is a damn steal for sheezy.

Re: Breakfast Club

I definitely want a stabilizer, Ive noticed a big difference between bikes with them and bikes without them. And seeing as how its a safety feature I think it should be my primary purchase for next year

Re: Breakfast Club

My pressure is always at 42 unless im practicing cluthcers which it is then at 22-26.
And someone please bring up some totally random, pointless, but incredibly debatable subject because im bored as hell at work, tired as all hell from spending time with the old man, haven't had a smoke in two days, and am getting very edgy because of it !
