i would guess so... when i moved to oklahoma/texas people mentioned they could tell i wasn't from the south...
over 10 years i picked up a lil bit of a southern accent, and when i went back home, my family said i had lil southern twang whatever lol

and people in the north think southerners have an accent

you dont think you have an accent because you talk the way you talk... but people from the south would say you have one

i dont care either way, as long as someone speaks freakin english, they are good to go .. too much freakin spanish speaking people in this country!

noooo i don't think i have an accent because i have been to every state and the majority actually talk the same. for exaple...when you watch television do you think everyone has an accent?
