Maybe some of us are along for the ride and where it goes it goes, no matter what we wear. I agree to get professional results you gotta look professional but the truth is that not everyone is disappointed in the way the sport is going, you of all people should be one of those people, because you've benefited in ways others havent. Thats what sets us apart, just my 2 cents.

you seem to think that the general public watching for amusement is the best method for growth. i think that the most beneficial type of growth is the growth of stunt riders, these are the people who will be contributing directly to the sport (buying videos, cages, 12 bars, etc). the type of people who will actually get out and start stunting, when exposed to stunting for the first time, arent typically the type of people who care what bikes look like.

just because stunters dont have the finacial support that those racers do doesnt mean we are not as talented as riders as they are. but it does mean that for us to get to their level we have a lot of hard work...
it also means that sometimes in order to get treated with respect by those potential finacial investors we need to do our best to at least TRY to look on par with those riders that are at that level!?
ugh.. nevermind its like kicking a dead horse with you guys.. u just dont get it..
**** it. we are the cannon lady people!

Usually I don't get into this crap, and I am on your side. Even from the begining, I have always kept my bikes nice. But comparing those guys to us is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. The fact of the matter is, our talent doesn't get paid a half a percent what theirs does. Yes, they look great, there bikes are sick, but they have a ****in unlimeted budget! They get brand new gear every event, they have full time mechanics......ahhhhhhh....the list can on and on. Fact of the matter is, they are in a whole different ball park....**** ball park....they are on an entirely different planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as far as what kane is saying, i agree, stunters like kane, and warren jamez get more attention due to the fact of what they are doing on clean *** bikes, as dum as it sounds, do you think that jason britton would be hosting junkies if he was on a ratty sf all the time. im just now getting into it, but i enjoy the look of watching someone do a lame slow circle on a clean bike then fast combos on a sh!tty bike.

pic 2 is something you should be doing in a car not wasting a bike
why do you have to hate on crunchy stunt pieces and street fightered f4is?
I figured a guy like you would have something better to do than post up bs on the internet like maybe learning how to actually ride decently?
who care if stunts arent on the cover of ssb for this month have you ever looked through an issue they are 95% bs for chromed out busas and zx14s

buying stuff is definitely the right course of action!! I agree completely!!
get people interested, then get interested people to buy stuff involved, which then in turn means our industry grows!!
buy handbrakes, cages, sprockets, 12bars, stunt videos! whatever it takes!!
support your local stuntrider, by supporting the companies that make what we do possible!
full throttle, 905, powers, freestyle, vortex, michelin whatever!!
your on the right track!

Thats easy, since this is a stunt riding site and not a sponsored fashion show the first 2 pics should go.
There is absolutely no reason for the majority of ppl that stunt to dish out the money to look pretty when stunting. I think you forgot Kane, not all of us have sponsors and get free bikes for bein on tv and can afford to ride around and be mr. pretty.
Your askin to much outtta ppl that can barely afford to keep there bikes runnin to try and impress magazines with nice bikes and ****.

i dont think so joe. im not saying we have to be on the same level but i am saying that the majority of the competitiors out there could do well to at least TRY to make our sport look decent..
its not just about budgets man, look at that pic ryan s posted on him doing the spreader on the ice. it looked damn good to me and it was still primered!?
im just saying that privateer hobbyist CCS racers spend more money in one weekend on tires than most stunters do on their bikes ALL YEAR!
doesnt leave very much room for growth!?

stop crying about not having "sponsors" and go get one then its not that hard!!! pick up a phone and call someone!
-
and BTW that 3rd pic isnt even the one i was trying to point out, not doggin on the guy riding at all im just saying we could all do a little bit more to help make this sport look a little nicer so that people continue to want to be involved in it.
