So today i saw an old fat lady riding on a 3 wheel moped thru a crosswalk at an intersection , get run over by a Mack truck

 

whoa....

 

True story . I was on my way to honda cause they messed up my title .

The truck was going west , and stopped at the light and was waiting for the GREEN light . I was going east and was at the light too (facing the truck) .

The lady drove her 3wheel moped right in front of the truck and the light turned green and He starting driving forward , but couldn't see her because of the high mack truck hood . He was going like 5 mph and knocked her over and ran the little 3 wheel over with the right front wheel .

He pushed the bike over , and it fell over with her still on it . Then he kept on driving about 10 feet @ 5 mph . He pushed the fallen over bike with her on it till the front wheel faced forward . Then the truck proceeded to steamroll over the bike with the right front tire and stop right on it . The ladies legs were still kind of around the bike . But it looked like most of the damage was done to her ankles . She looked like she passed out about ten seconds after the truck stopped .

Guy got out of the truck all calm cause he didn't know what was stopping the truck from moving forward . It was the bike underneath the right wheel


She was lucky because the rest of her body was out of the way of the truck and facing the right curb .

I was the first car in line at the light facing the accident , and saw situation unroll right in front of my eyes . The other people that were going in the other direction (north and south) saw it too because Everyone was stopped and sitting there .

Totally her fault BTW . She shouldn't have gone in the crosswalk right before the light turned green .

Maybe she wasn't thinking or something , but people walking and riding bicycles or whatever , have to be aware of the lights and crosswalk lights if they are going to be going thru them .

I bet the truck company will be sued . And lose of course .

Very lucky to be alive , she was .
