its a tune port 350 .same motor as the vette that year and its a lighter car then the vette was that year .....

 

And thats exactly why they didnt put a standard tranny in them, it would have made the vette look stupid even though the vette cost alot more.

 

didnt the vet have differnet heads and cam?

 

same heads differant cam,but the formula was faster and not advertised very much because this car was so much cheaper then the vette and gm owns both pontiac and chevrolet so they didn't come out sayin this is the fastest car we have this year because they would rather sell vettes then fire birds

 

yup you could only get the 5 speed with a 305 unless you lived in canada

 

hell yea, i love that car, my boy has a 92 formula 350 all black
back in high school we'd pray for it to rain so we could do donuts without killing the tires

I didnt even like c4 vettes. I liked the 3rd gen camaro alot better.

 

Haha those thing barely even went anywhere in the snow. Tires just spin instantly once you put it in drive
