just the fact that the back rim and tire are bigger would make a couple pounds differance

954 rims were made significantly lighter than 929 and F4i rims.

the reason why i asked is because people seem to rock 900s and 600s. barely few stunt 1000s. just a squid question i guess.

the extra power makes it twitchier, especially if you gear it. 600s have less power and less low end power as well, so you can actually have better control over the throttle.

i havent ridden a 954, but the f4i feels heavy to me compared to the 636, even though they weigh about the same. the bikes geometry has a lot to do with how heavy it feels.

It's all about the geometry. Weight isn't everything.
