the only good thing about being there for awhile is that you get seniority after awhile and can get some good vacation days.....and you can place bets with your coworkers as to how long nebwies will last before the quit or get fired.....

yeah, I can see the seniority thing, but I don't work in a warehouse, I'm a merchandiser for Coke, so i go to the big stores, and stock their shelves with coke. it's a pain in the ***. and as I said before...

well, I think I'm gonna call it a night too, I got tomorrow off, so I'm gonna make it worth it, by getting up early and doing SOMETHING with my day.

 

are they your supervisors or are they the store managers? If they aren't your supervisor just say "if you have a prob. w/ me you need to take that up w/ my manager" and walk away while they are all primed to holler at ya.....

I don't work for them, but they have the ability to kick me out of the store. or keep me from leaving. Like tonight, I was already 30mins past my clock out time, when the manager at meijer told me that I couldn't leave (he wouldn't sign my log sheet) until I unloaded 3 carts full of 2 liter bottles onto pallets. But the thing is, is THEY were the ones that put the 2 liters on there earlier in the afternoon, cuase they had an accident.


They had 3 pallets stacked on top of eachother, and the bottom one (water pallet) broke causing the top two (2 liter pallets) to topple to the ground, destroying a good chunk of the coke, as well as a good chunk of the Budweiser back stock.

 

Thankfully they cleaned their own mess, but it just pissed me off that I had to stay Extra long to take care of their crap.

 

yeah that suxx...but there's always some kind of b.s. envolved in every job. Just remind yourself that you've done worse jobs for less money....that's how I stay sane
